I was upstairs in our workout room when I noticed the weather outside. I wouldn’t be surprised if it started raining soon. We could use a little rain, besides last night, it hasn’t rained in a while now. I took a few pics with my cell phone, it was around 9 AM at the time, click on the pics to get a bigger image.

Asha’s Indian Restaurant

February 3, 2006

Well, we ended up going to Asha’s today for lunch. For those of you that don’t know, it’s the indian restaurant at Marina Crescent. The seating was nice on the inside, though it did smell a little funny. I prefered the outside seating. The weather around lunch time was nice. Ofcourse, I was bothered by my little brothers’ incredibly childish and embarrasing behavior. The food was good, but not nearly as spicy as I anticipated for an indian restaurant. I had Chicken curry and saffron rice, was pretty good.

Although, one thing that pissed me off was how long it took for the food to get on the table. Could’ve taken a bath and came back. Also, the menu decribed VERY little about what they were serving.

Generally, it was a good restaurant and I had a good meal. The final verdict:-

4 out of 5 stars!

Choowy Goowy Cookies

To put it all in once sentance, these are the best cookies I have ever had in my life. No doubt about it. They’re called Choowy Goowy Cookies and they 100% Kuwaiti, believe it or not. It got started by some guy who first started a company is 2002 called Booza Booza for Arabic ice cream, though that didn’t work out for him during the winter, and Choowy Goowy cookies was born. They cost about 2.5 KD per jar (one dozen per jar) for chocolate chip, cinammon, peanut butter, and macadamia nut cookies. Though its an extra KD for the double chocolate Cookies.
I first read about them on http://www.248am.com, one of my favorite blogsites, run by a man named Mark (my blogging inspiration, if you will). Give them a call, 2626559.
